2015 / LID.CE
On February 26, the unique video mapping event commemorating Lidice and Khojaly massacres took place on the Old Town Square, the historical part of Prague, Czech Republic.
We did the first part as the commemoration of Czech village Lidice massacre which took place on June 10, 1942 as a response to Heydrich’s assassination. Hypnotica‘s part was dedicated to Khojaly massacre that happened in 1992 during Karabakh war between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Video mapping projection “Winds of Sorrow” presented Lidice and Khojaly events repeatedly for several hours to the big flow of residents and tourists of Prague, on the famous medieval architectural building.
The event was organized by Azerbaijan Student Network with the support of “Index” organization based in Turkey in order to inform people of tragic events in Khojaly and Czech village Lidice.
